Paul Scholes who started out playing off the forward for the top scoring team over the last 15 years only has a 1 in 5 goal ratio, and an incredible 1 in 14.5 assist ratio.

So we agree that Scholes was a better goalscorer? Yep.
He had also played in a team that got it wide at every opportunity. Osman even played wide for us for most of his career and still manages 1 in 10.
Terrible player.

Sorry for the confusion Orly, I don't believe you support Utd.
But considering Scholes played as the second forward for the first 3/4 years of his Utd career when they were trouncing everybody in sight I'm surprised it not better, but it's not that much different to Osman's. Then take into account his career assists (which surprised me tbh) and I'm sure you'll agree Osman's stats match up pretty well to one of the best players the premiership has ever seen.
Incidentally I've just seen Gerrard scored 46 penalties for the RS and Lampards scored 58, not yet seen how many free kicks each scored but it brings their goals to games ratio right down and closer to Osman's. Each had roughly a 1 in 6 assist ratio which when you again take into account they took all the corners and free kicks for their teams it's really not looking much different.
Ossies stats are really stacking up against the leading players..
