the truth hurts lads we all know our fanbase puts up with too much **** from this board I wouldnt have an issue if this was mid january but sorry under 2 days to go before the window shuts deja vu springs too mind. soon as you saw £8.5 mil you knew it wasnt going too happen.

Yeah they just made up the whole thing, Fer just flew over here for a laugh, definitely hadn't already agreed a contract prior to the medical. The money doesn't even exist, Kenwright was just doing it to make it look like we had money to spend.

Go get yourself a tinfoil hat. What next, the pyramids are giant alien space craft ? FFS.

Even if it genuinely was a medical failure, both prematurely announcing this fee as agreed and leaving business this late cant be defended.

This is the real issue.

thats my main issue mate we have left it too late as usual trying to save on wages and now its hit a snag we havent any time to negotiate and will end up most likely missing out on bringing in players we desperatley need to push forward.

If what okeefe is saying is true then Everton are being wholly sensible.

Basic stuff. Move on . There's nothing to see here just now.

I'm sorry but i'm backing Kenwright on this one it would be stupid to just go ahead with the agreed fee if there are problems with the medical. I'd tell Twente to do one, give them back their player with a dodgy knee and leave them without the cash to buy the players they wanted.

This^^ we don't want any more crocks, thanks

Some people seriously cannot be bothered to read.

An "agreed deal" is not a final deal. Announcing an agreed deal is not announcing final terms agreed. It is agreeing to terms in principal, subject to conditions.

Here, one condition was a medical. The medical turned up a problem. The fee can be amended based on the medical.

If you disagree with EFC for protecting itself from a potential long term injury, then that is fine, but stop skewing reality to fit your narrative.

Further on Leroy Fer. #EFC still willing to agree on £8.6m deal in principle but due to knee issue want chunk to be based on appearances

Just what I though. We are trying to change the deal, but we'll get him anyway if they don't want to change it.

Okeefe says in his echo article that i twente dont agree, EFC will pull plug on the deal.
