well he either puts up or shuts up you didnt see the barcodes messing about over demba ba with his dodgy knee's or us with lescott, like I said mate in my post just then its too late to be messing about mid jan fine but we either pay the money or we dont.

Yeah and they stupidly agreed that buy out clause with him which meant they'd lose him if he did well for them, turned out well that didn't it

thats my main issue mate we have left it too late as usual trying to save on wages and now its hit a snag we havent any time to negotiate and will end up most likely missing out on bringing in players we desperatley need to push forward.

Lad, some of the things you say I agree with. But this time I'm going to disagree. We've seen Gibson and Mirallas on the injury table far too much this season and the last thing we need is another one on there. If the deals not right we need to move on.

£8.5m is a good fee to chase other targets.

An whoever just called me a kopite and neged repped me 6000 points I've obviously hit a nerve with you on your powertrip u savant.

The club operates by the seat of its pants.

Announcing a done deal on the OS prior to finalisation and then it collapses.

It's pure slapstick, pie in the face stuff. Ofoe and now Fer...the Low Country clubs must be queuing up to do business with these clowns.

It's a mexican standoff that's all. One of the two will blink soon enough, stop being such panic merchants
Maybe but we really haven't got money dropping out of our arsehole have we. Wouldn't it be better to spend what money we do have on a player who sails through his medical than sign this lad and wince every time he goes in to a 50-50?

If the club have any doubts at all about the lads long term fitness, then they shouldn't even gamble on low installments either they should just pull the plug and move on to the next target, quickly.

Even if it genuinely was a medical failure, both prematurely announcing this fee as agreed and leaving business this late cant be defended.

This is the real issue.

Its not though - if he has had a medical and failed it, noone except you will blame Kenwrong when the deal collapses. If he has had a medical and passed it and Kenwrong isnt stumping up the money that was agreed, then everyone will blame him.

What other players should we have signed ? Who do you know was available ? Do you know we had money available at the time ?

I still await the answers to those questions. As long as you get to spin that agenda eh.

If we have the money now, why wouldn't we have it then?

They said the fee was agreed pending a medical and personal terms, in what world does that equal done deal ?
