Leroy Fer

All isn't lost for Leroy.....thankfully, being as his bird will be staying put in the flat there are willing buyers for the nag at Tesco.

The fact that we have sent him home is not encouraging.

Dont think weve actually had him on his way, he'll of agreed to the terms already but will leave it in the hands of the 2 clubs to sort out a deal. We want him, he wants to come, and by the sounds of things we still want to pay the agreed £8.6m but just in a different way to originally agreed due to things that have come up on his medical!.

We are doing the right thing IMO and im still confident we'll sign him by thursday atleast, if not tomorrow?!.

Should they have splashed this 'deal' all over the OS?

It was all over the worldwide media and Sky Sports were reporting it. They never reported a finalised deal, they said they had agreed a fee pending terms with the player and a medical. What's the issue ? Since when is a statement of fact something to be angry about ?

We'll probably have another lid lined up. I hope this one comes off but it's not the der end of der werld if it doesn't.

I personally think that, by the sounds of it, there's an issue to be ironed out and it will be sorted tomorrow.

Is right. Let's face it, if this lad does have an injury worry, we have such little money that we can't afford to waste on a crock.

We already have Gibson who struggles to stay fit, and he only cost £500k. We also have Mirallas & his hamstring worry too.

We don't need an £8.6m crock. Everton are right to be fussed about this, it's common sense.

But he's not a crock, the club apparently want him for less than was agreed, that's all.

It was a bit unorthodox though mate wasnt it?

All joking aside, what exactly will we be offering different now? My gut instinct tells me this wont happen now, because when you look at him, he is exactly what we are lacking.

It's a sensible move to try and get part of the fee paid based on appearances if a player has injury 'issues'.

With regards to the Fer deal it is a no-brainer we are trying to do this if what I've heard is true - his false leg fell off during the medical.

it was a guns going off half cocked splash story.

You'd think they'd learn, but they never do.
