One thing to throw in the mix - If the lad was a crock then the club would not get insurance cover but seeing as he is playing for a club already then that should not be a an issue unless it has only now been uncovered.

24 hrs ago the fourms were filled with updates from our dutch journos that the lad had bad knees so I think this was already known at the club level of the seller.

during a webchat with greg o keefe a possible court case involving fer was mentioned . if there is something to it it would cause a problem or 2

Is right. Let's face it, if this lad does have an injury worry, we have such little money that we can't afford to waste on a crock.

We already have Gibson who struggles to stay fit, and he only cost £500k. We also have Mirallas & his hamstring worry too.

We don't need an £8.6m crock. Everton are right to be fussed about this, it's common sense.

Exactly,if moneys short we have to be careful.

Looks like the club jumped the gun to get the good headlines and the fans off their backs, only to find the problem was more of a problem than they thought and tried to get a better deal or withdraw gracefully
