If he was to sign and then be out long term, we'd be screwed. We can't sign someone like that. The club found a problem they weren't expecting to which changed everything. Fair play. We did NOT have to have known in advance about his injury, we were RIGHT to have concerns over the fact that he's constantly in danger of long term injury, as we were blowing most of our budget on him and we were right not to go through with it in the end when they weren't willing to budge.
