I think a murderer would add that bite we've needed in midfield.
Please no, i couldnt listen to the Nitsche quotes
Or like someone else said he's helping out his friend [the chairman] Because fans are annoyed at losing their best midfielder.
The fact that we've signed a player for £8m isn't typical Everton. The fact that we've just signed a player who's got a court case, apparently, is not "typical everton". Not in any way, shape or form is that typical of Everton ffs.
This is quite outrageous detective work.Whatever it is, it seems unlikely that anyone would buy him if he was at serious risk of a custodial sentence, though I suppose the small incremental payments thing would make sense in that case.
Most likely it's something Very Bad that will attract a heavy financial penalty / suspended sentence / whatever and a whole load of bad press in the Netherlands, but meet shrugs over here because UK fans are detached from the context it was committed in. Can hardly see the board, never mind Moyes, taking someone on with something that would be immediately condemned by the fans hanging over them.
Edit: Or it's just full of crap, obviously.
He hasn't been charged yet so he can do whatever he wants. Once he is charged, he would surely need to present himself at the court in The Netherlands (if it's as serious as suggested).Allowed to fly out of the country
Everton would know about any up coming court case
Story broke from the mate of the FC Twente chairman whos fans are pissed of with the club selling there best player
It just so happens that the story breaks hours after we agree a fee for him
I'm not to sure about that, Derksen has personal connections with the chairman, he's probably better informed than Everton, unless Fer himself has told Everton about this court case. Seems like their chairman (Munsterman) is glad to get rid of him though, I was very surprised that they sold him in january with Twente still competing for the title.
Not an expect in international contract law, but fairly sure not disclosing that sort of thing would be grounds to call the whole deal off and warrant a massive smack from FIFA from whichever of the club / player failed to make it known.
