Let’s talk about Nottingham Forest

tbf Mikey, they wouldn't be able to go on about a top 6 bias after our game as we're not in the top 6.

They could have focused on what Williams was saying, basically that top six sides get those sorts of decisions

All of us non top six clubs could band together and put together one heck of collection of awful calls and then contrast them with ones that top six clubs got

But again, after Forest have behaved recently, why would anyone team up with them now?

Forest moaning about bad calls but they should be grateful for some otherwise they wouldn't be in Prem after the fiasco of their play off final against Huddersfield couple of years back.

If any club/clubs should moan about VAR calls etc. We all know it's Everton & Wolves, the amount of times we've been done over this season. Just a few weeks ago we should have pen v Burnley, to add to the tons of other calls we never got. Plus the way Forest are acting you would think they were the only team that had calls go against them. Saying VAR are Luton Fans and almost wanting to pick their own Refs etc for games is so wrong. No matter how bad Refs/VAR is.

I still hope this can actually happen, but somehow doubt it, but we can hope. Hopefully gets in the Panel's minds,not to give any points back now, as surely they go into these appeals, already having some sort of what they were going to do on result before hearing appeal happens - they just need to word in a a way to match what they are going to do.

Aye. I mean, it's already been an utter joke seeing us docked 4x as many points as Forest, but to think that the only possible outcomes of their appeal are 0 points given back or 1-2 points given back but no option to increase point deduction, when compared to our case which the committee HAS TO consider, would be crazy.

Unfortunately I can see another "We award 1 point back to Nottingham Forest but cannot understand why a different committee came to a different conclusion for Everton" kind of outcome, then for us a "the point deduction remains at 2 points and we cannot understand the reasoning for a different committee giving back points to Nottingham Forest" one.

There should be a pool of, say, 10 committee members with any fans of clubs involved or affiliated with direct rivals excluded, whether that leaves 3, 5 or 7 members shouldn't really matter. It should ensure that every panel at least has several members that were involved with decision making full previous appeals, which ought to ensure that there is a fairness amongst all outcomes.

The refereeing in this country is both incompetent and corrupt. Im not sure how Atwell being a Luton fan is a thing here though as surely a draw or everton loss (considering they play us soon) would have been a better result.

But im glad Forest have fone what they did. The whole system needs fixing.

Mark Clattenburg, who by 2024 Marinakis had enough confidence in to employ as Forest refereeing consultant.

Apparently they want to take legal action against Sky because red Nev called them a 'mafia' they are properly imploding here and I hope they crash and burn tbh.
