Let’s talk about Nottingham Forest

I feel like it’s gone under the radar with everyone talking about Luton, but if they lose to City and we beat Brentford this weekend then they mathematically can’t catch us

Depends on how their appeal goes I guess

Luton and Burnley are my main focus at the moment

If they both lose on the weekend then a draw with Brentford confirms our survival without The Tricky Trees even entering the discussion

If Forest lose all their remaining games and don’t get any points back, then Burnley could still send them down with just four more points provided that Luton collapse also

Looks like they could be getting replaced by another one of the housewives favourites, Leeds.

If Leeds do come up, I wonder how long it will be before some of the unhinged on here, start declaring them to be the reincarnation of the 70`s Brazil team ?

If we were in Forest’s position I don’t think anybody on here would be entertaining the possibility of us getting any points back.

Especially after their recent behaviour

I honestly don't know why we've bothered appealing to be honest, unless it's just to try and mitigate the deduction we're likely getting next season

I understand why we’ve appealed. We can’t be setting a precedent where they can just do whatever they want to us and we’ll just lie down and take it.

They told us we should have foreseen Russian annexation of Crimea and been aware of Russian danger because of the Salisbury poisonings... they're clutching at straws.
We're a football club, its not our job to monitor geopolitical hotspots

Forest have City, Sheffield United, Chelsea and Burnley (last game of the season). City and Chelsea are both aiming for something, so they won't be switching off.

Sheffield United will probably roll over, so there are points there, so it could boil down to Burnley away on the final day.

Luton's run in is a bit more favourable, I'd guess, because they have Wolves, us, West Ham and Fulham, where there isn't going to be the same level or urgency.

Either way, if we match them for points today they're eight points behind with nine points left available. We better their points, even by one, and it's all but done.

Just putting it out there.
