Whoop Whoop all aboard the hype train.

I give it a few weeks before everyone is calling him crap and he needs to be loaned out.
A few weeks, try with one week.
He was getting called it during the Bolton game despite being one of the brightest players.

If Dyche wants us to be the organised, pressing, counter attacking side that we saw at Brighton. Then he needs players on board with the idea, no one is more mouldable than youngsters. If Dobbin does exactly what is asked of him both attacking and defensively then he should be given minutes in a wide role during McNeil's injury. Still need that no. 9 who is gonna hold up the out ball to lay off to him though...

Apart from if your name is Stuart Barlow. Then pace is a hindrance as the soft sod couldn't stay onside. Legs were quicker than his pea brain to process the correct timing of his runs

He was a fast fecker to be fair to him, remember pitch invading at a preseason friendly in Dundalk, chased him down the tunnel! Jason Kearton no slouch either! lol

Have you watched any of the preseason? He's looked as bad as ever. The goal against monza deffo deflected off him on the way in, only way that joker is scoring
I think you need to appreciate all of the words not just those outside of parentheses. It might take a lot to improve Maupay’s performance but he has performed before.

What’s even more impressive about the assist is Maupay tried to run the ball out of bounds but the weight of the pass was so perfect he didn’t have the opportunity to do so. That’s what you call knowing your personnel

Sometimes players have an iffy loan but still go on to be good players

I wouldn't be deciding whether Lewis Dobbin should play for us based on last season's loan spell

There have been players who have gone on loan and been terrific (like Duffy when he went to Yeovil) and it didn't work out for them here regardless of that

Heck, Simms tore it up at every club he was loaned to and many were happy to sell him

If anyone has made their mind up on a player following one loan spell then they're way off
I think people need to realize that sometimes what’s more important about loans is quantity as opposed to quality. He got plenty of time at Derby which suggests he was doing something right over there and he got lots of experience. And also you have to take into account that the quality you are playing with (hard to believe teams are worse than us but it’s true) will not be the same quality you play with in this league.

I have to imagine playing on loan doesn’t have the same feel either as playing for your own team that pays your wages and dictates your future. There are just too many factors involved to judge someone before you see them play right in front of you.
