No one knows. Gordon was shipped out and didn't impress but ended up selling him for a large sum.

I think he's got more of an end product but would prepare he goes out on loan for another year.

That's why I don't get the "not prem ready" shouts.

Until he/they actually play against a prem side, you don't know.

Gordon ran and puts graft in which was his only talent.

So until I play against a PL side, you don’t know if I’m ready?

He flopped in League One of course he isn’t good enough

Sadly, reminds me of Barlow.

He gets in good positions but doesn't put it away. The wild volley when played in beautifully by Iwobi was a shocker. The shot just past the post was a bit unlucky.

Saying that, if we get 1 forward player in I'd probably keep him, but 2 spells a loan.

He may improve, but he's not the answer to any of our questions right now.
I said in another thread that he looked eager, but his finishing was wayward at best. For me, he doesn't have the characteristics of a striker - he's a wide player.

Yeah, it wasn't a direct comparison to Barlow (bless him!) but rather the familiar look of a player who gets a bit overexcited when presented with a chance.

I like how he's quick, direct and always makes himself available, but that's it for now.

Let's see.

If he plays down the flanks he will do well with assists until his finishing improves but is definitely shades of Barlow .

I’m a match with 10 mins to go he’s deffo someone that could do something ! More so than our options have been in the past ! 2 keepers on the bench etc

Think this is the last year of his contract, so unless he resigns, there is no point in loaning him.

Pretty much mate. Forgot you're a professional player.

As for flopping....So did Gordon in the championship compared to Canon for example.

And Dobbin didn't "flop". He's 19. Played 20 games. Scored 3 and got 4 assists. That's a successful loan.

We need to start playing these kids regardless and see what they do. Already let Samuels-Smith, Price, Small go (two are left backs when we actually need some)...City have pinched two a few years back, Simms sold.

We're hemorrhaging youth players since Mosh took over as we have no plan and we're offering little to them.

We're skint. Nothing to lose apart from playing them IMO.

No we aren’t playing these lads like Dobbin and Onyango and co because they aren’t good enough. Dyche and co get to see them every single day.

He's been here 7 months. His priorities are going to be survival first.

We haven't had a manager last 2 seasons since Martinez who funnily enough gave Barkley, Davies, Pennington, Connolly, Dowell, Garbutt, Browning to name a few debuts and starts.

Doesn't matter about hit rate either. It's about seeing if they can cut it by playing them.

Now they get to sit on the bench to make up the numbers on a thin squad that usually puts 2 keepers on it, and never get minutes.

I like him myself, but feel he will be left on the bench bar maybe the odd last few mins if he's lucky, as we will always get told we need more experienced players and so on - ive always liked him more than Cannon as for me he's more of a team player and looks more lively
