I imagine it must feel a little strange for Lewis.

He's gone from being nowhere in contention for a start in a struggling team with only two other wingers in the entire squad, to a team that's playing in the Champions League this season and has much better players than at Everton competing for a starting position.

He will also know if Villa and Everton didn't desperately need to improve their PSR position then there would be no chance that Villa would entertain the idea of signing him (just my opinion).

Anyway can't blame him for taking the move - if you can't get in over bang average players in McNeil and Harrison, even temporarily for a run of games after they've stunk the place out for months, then you're better off leaving.

Nope, I dare say he won’t last a season at Villa and be at some Championship club next summer. It’s a smart financial move for both clubs

Neither was Iroegbunam to us. The fee is high enough to be helpful for PSR without being suspiciously high for an unused academy player (Chelsea fees).

Shame really as I liked Lewis and think he might make a premier league player with a bit of coaching and if he can stay injury free but you can't turn down that sort of money and the club comes first.

Hope he does well at villa. Was one of the highlights of last season his goal against Chelsea.
