List for Sergei

growing resentment towards Sergei from people that weren't in possession of the facts.

Well that's the problem, innit?

I'm sure from the people that have visited him, at least one of us would've had something to say on here if we thought Sergei was working the head.

If I'd ever once thought it was the case, you'd hear about it on here, believe me. How many of those questioning him, have actually met him, I wonder?

Some only had to look back a few posts in the thread to see the lad on a video (stewarding the public from the 'meat is murder' whoppers) at Aintree & posting about doing 12 hour shifts (No doubt at NMW but that's for another thread) before questioning his integrity.

It's really not on. The lad's come here to escape all that. As he said, he had better living conditions in Gorton, but chose to come here to be nearer to those he considers his friends.

Yes, people have the right to ask, and I wouldn't deny it them - but use a bit of tact, eh?

I think we're all done now mate but thanks for your input. To be fair he's had such a successful first season on Merseyside that I've had the decorators in to stick Sergei's face on the side of my house with a catchy Russian quote.

Well I hope his face becomes unstuck from your wall in time for him to get to work next monday :)

Bloo*y yes.

Good Morning Sergei,

With reference to our meeting on Thursday 7th April 2016, we are pleased to confirm that you were successful in your interview and we would like to offer you the position of Parcel Dispatch Operative starting on Monday 18th April 2016 at 9:00am.
Well in mate.
Great news and as I am sure has been said before, always more chance of getting another job if you've already got one.

We've got ourselves to blame as much as the lad, here, methinks.

I know I don't get in touch with Sergei as often as perhaps I should.

I know he's on the bones of his arse, I've seen it for meself and it's not pleasant. And tbh, WTF do I care if he's got a ticket & I don't? What should anyone care ffs? Does he suddenly become unworthy of a ticket because of A/ who he is.? B/ Where he's from? And C/ because of his current plight?

I know how the dole case people so all's they've got time for is to look for a job - they leave people to their own devices but if they deem Sergei (Or whoever) hasn't done enough to find work then they stop his dole....Then he well & truly jiggered, isn't he?

And the lad must be worried sick about his young family back in Russia; only able to communicate via telephone or internet...Ever thought that they're the reasons he doesn't come on here that often?

As for the suggestions he 'report more often' on here - To who, exactly? We're not the staasi ffs. The lad's posted a video of himself stewarding at Aintree...He's having a go ffs.

If I give him money then IDGAF if he spends it on ale...The lad's got enough to deal with so I couldn't blame him if he wanted to blot a few hours out. If he wanted to use it to go the game, so what? Gives him the opportunity to get out, socialise & network doesn't it?

Let him enjoy the little he has unhindered & unquestioned, eh?

That's all.

@Russian Evertonian I'll be in touch soon, mate. Congrats on your good news - hopefully that'll shut a few of the bellends up. ;)
Cool story lid .
