So jelly (sos)!R.E.M. (83, 85, 87)
Haha no, but I wish I had!I once saw someone hitting a cheese grater with a spanner and looping it, with the other person using the electo frequency from plants to create an electronic sound which turned into a type of acid song. In a shed, in a field in Cambridgeshire
Did anyone else from GOT attend this?
Yeah, was in the same place. It's a club near me, local record shop puts album release shows on there all the time with bands doing 45 min -1hr long sets. Normally £15/20. Then if you're at the late show you can stay in for their club night if there's one on. Randomly the club itself had BCS on afterwards as well! Was he a later show so you could make both??
Same on Snow Patrol and Killers, staples of the last couple of decades and always a really good show
Nice. Will check it out. Also it looks like Pulp are continuing into next year as they've announced an Edinburgh New Year gig. if you get the chance I'd hugely recommend trying to get to one of their shows next year, as I'd assume it'll be some of their last. And they were incredible this year

Suspect there’s one or two more !
Seen Beastie Boys, Radiohead, Yo Yo Ma, Oasis. At least those are the popular acts I’ve seen (I don’t go to shows much.) I’ve also seen Better than Ezra about 3 times but if you live in Louisiana any length of time you’ll see them at least once even if by accident.
I'm probably one of very few that is jealous of you seeing Bread live. Used to absolutely love David Gates and Bread when I was a kid., as you can see I started in the 70’s with The Eagles and Peter Frampton so am probably classed as an oldie!
I reckon The Eagles and PF are both still touring amazingly, and I’d definitely go and see both again!
Some off the list are no longer together and tbh some are no longer with us !
Of the ones we’ve seen in the last five years or so I’d definitely recommend Coldplay (great show), Snow Patrol, and The Killers, David Gray doing the White Ladder tour eventually last year (after COVID!) was well worth the wait!
Also pretty sure I read somewhere recently that Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark are back out touring again!
Hope your kids enjoy Radiohead!
Don't get me wrong Muse are also one of my favourites historically and their shows are spectacular.
I'm starting to see how much more value for money festival day tickets are when its a band you like headlining though - Reading Festival for example you can see The Killers and a whole day of music for around the same price as a Muse arena gig. I'm going to hold out for Muse playing the likes of Reading, TRNSMT next year when I can definitely justify the cost because you get loads of other bands too
The British Summertime gigs are great for that. Was a good one like that atCan’t argue with that logic at all. Target all the bands you like at a festival and it’s a much more cost effective of way of seeing the major acts.
The British Summertime gigs are great for that. Was a good one like that atAlly PallyCrystal Palace Park this summer too, Wombats, Vaccines, 2DCC, Sea Girls, Baby Queen.
Also forgot the first ever gig I went to - Status Quo! My dad was supposed to go with my uncle, who couldn't make it, so he took me instead. Was only 13/14 at the time I think. We were right at the back of Wembley Arena, but loved it lol.
