Additional props for Naked Raygun and RHH

Just got back from RHCP at Hampden Park. Stunning gig, production and visuals were amazing, band on top form. King Princess and The Roots also very good support.

RHCP is excellent live, with first-rate production. Watched that one from the front row of the upper deck, so I didn't have to stand all night.

Flea came back out for the encore by walking out on his hands in a handstand. Dude's a nut, in a good way.

Taking our kids to their first concert next month. They took a liking to Phoenix when we played some of their music for them and now we're all going to see Phoenix and Beck together on a special ticket offer.

Flea is a complete nut, came out at the start on his hands, kilt ended up round his head. His random solo version of Captain Beefheart‘s Orange Claw Hammer was surreal!

Saw Boygenius, Muna and Ethel Cain at one of those day concert in a London park type of thing.

It was incredible, the music was really good but the atmosphere was amazing. By far the best of any gig I have been too. It was just a massive queer party lol

Gunnersbury park is by far the best outdoor park I have seen music in too. Most in London parks tend to be quiet but this wasn't at all

Got Liam Gallagher tickets for next year doing Definitely Maybe. Not fully Oasis but his shows bring that experience to a younger audience which is good, and he's doing the full album plus b-sides. The speed he's sold out the tour shows that the atmosphere will be incredible. Is anyone else going to that?

The Glasronbury thread was fun, so let's bring it into every day life...let's talk about live music and what we've seen/have coming up.

I saw Pulp at Castlefield Bowl tonight. Proper bucket list band for me, they were brilliant!

Going to London for Bruce Springsteen and Blur on Saturday and Sunday this coming weekend...
Would love to see Pulp and Blur. Have seen a few bands/DJs etc. Killers a couple times, Green Day, Snow Patrol, Bloc Party, Mumford and Sons, Swedish House Mafia, Pendulum. Saw Bombay Bicycle Club last night, then Barry Can't Swim. Both were really good :D

Was he a later show so you could make both??

Same on Snow Patrol and Killers, staples of the last couple of decades and always a really good show

Also it looks like Pulp are continuing into next year as they've announced an Edinburgh New Year gig. if you get the chance I'd hugely recommend trying to get to one of their shows next year, as I'd assume it'll be some of their last. And they were incredible this year
