RHCP is excellent live, with first-rate production. Watched that one from the front row of the upper deck, so I didn't have to stand all night.Just got back from RHCP at Hampden Park. Stunning gig, production and visuals were amazing, band on top form. King Princess and The Roots also very good support.

Flea is a complete nut, came out at the start on his hands, kilt ended up round his head. His random solo version of Captain Beefheart‘s Orange Claw Hammer was surreal!RHCP is excellent live, with first-rate production. Watched that one from the front row of the upper deck, so I didn't have to stand all night.
Flea came back out for the encore by walking out on his hands in a handstand. Dude's a nut, in a good way.
Would love to see Pulp and Blur. Have seen a few bands/DJs etc. Killers a couple times, Green Day, Snow Patrol, Bloc Party, Mumford and Sons, Swedish House Mafia, Pendulum. Saw Bombay Bicycle Club last night, then Barry Can't Swim. Both were really goodThe Glasronbury thread was fun, so let's bring it into every day life...let's talk about live music and what we've seen/have coming up.
I saw Pulp at Castlefield Bowl tonight. Proper bucket list band for me, they were brilliant!
Going to London for Bruce Springsteen and Blur on Saturday and Sunday this coming weekend...
Was he a later show so you could make both??Would love to see Pulp and Blur. Have seen a few bands/DJs etc. Killers a couple times, Green Day, Snow Patrol, Bloc Party, Mumford and Sons, Swedish House Mafia, Pendulum. Saw Bombay Bicycle Club last night, then Barry Can't Swim. Both were really good
Also it looks like Pulp are continuing into next year as they've announced an Edinburgh New Year gig. if you get the chance I'd hugely recommend trying to get to one of their shows next year, as I'd assume it'll be some of their last. And they were incredible this yearWould love to see Pulp and Blur.
