Going to askern music festival at the weekend, which for £33 is a bargain.

Razor light, the Enemy, Tom Meighan (of Kasabian) and Space.

Overall list definitely shows my age, can’t be assed listing them tbh.

Highlights are without doubt. (And do not show my age!).

Springsteen x 7
Rolling Stones x 4
Pulp x 4
Paul McCartney x 4
White Lies x 20
Metallica
Tom Petty
Thom Yorke on a hill at Glastonbury in 2010.

Lowlights without doubt

U2 - absolutely garbage. Woeful.
The Who - another. Believed their own hype, don’t think they wanted to be there.

As a youngster it was Prog rock, and lucky to see Zeppelin, Floyd, Jethro Tull, Hawkwind , Family and many others.

Most gigs at the Stadium, Liverpool University, and the Royal Court.

Punk in my late teens, so saw Buzzocks, Damned, etc, at Erics.

Glad to have seen Dylan, Randy Newman, and Ron Sexsmith., several times.

Only regret so far, not making it to the annual Cambridge Folk Festival.

Yes, that’s on my list ( as long as I don’t have to camp).

There is the strawberry fair festival in Cambridge too, which is a bit more grass roots. I've been going since I was 15 or so, it's a bit more psychedelic. I've taken acid there each year for 15 years lol

I'm pretty sure the same people put on both festivals

Outside of festivals:

Lee Scrarch Perry
Massive Attack x 2

Zion Train
Richie Havens
Suede
Sultans of Ping

Used to love that festival, was always the first one of the summer, my mate always used to have a stall there selling clothers and we'd all pile over there from Northampton and make a fair whack selling various illegal things.

No, never made it to that one. Strawberry Fair was a regular date for years though late 90s-early-mid 2000s. Loads of fun.

I went from the early 00 and used to buy stuff there, so I guess it's not impossible that we got some stuff from your lot
