Really don't understand all the fume from some on here regarding today's game.

No we were not on top form, but we didn't play badly or with fear ect... We lacked the final ball as we dont have a player who specialises in doing that....that's all!!

If anything Liverpool looked more scared of us.
 

From my view of this game we can,t go in to the ins and outs as to what and if, Both teams played **** and end of season game with can,t be arsed players MOM Stevie Gerrard.

I don't know and I don't particularly care. We're not in the CL. I was referring to premier league matches where the likes of Wigan, Blackburn and Bolton have got results at OT, The Emirates, Stamford Bridge and Anfield in the Moyes era.

to be fair moyes record is nothing short of shocking in theses games . perhaps thats why other clubs do not gamble on him. because when it comes to the crunch something goes a wry
 

I've collected a nice pair of UNPAID debts from those lovable gobsh1tes now (or nearly). £20 to win or draw at Anfield (2009 FA Cup) - not paid. £10 to finish ahead of The RS (about to happen, about to not be paid I'm 200% certain).

.....I do think the lack of quality upfront makes it difficult all round to play more positively from midfield. None of our central strikers are particularly adept at running the channels or playing on the shoulder. Big Vic tries his heart out but isn't very good. He's getting to be a one-trick pony, only liking the ball played into his feet to use his power and turn defenders.
We do really well considering and would be a different proposition with real quality up top.
