I'd start crying if the game was moved to friday. Will arrive at Manchester Airport at 7pm on that friday.

Sky don't care about ticket sales, they want viewing figures for the commercial income. Next tv deal will have more games and they want to get the maximum return.

Problem they have is Friday night tv is usually controlled by the female of the species and they are wary of this. Now, people will bring up Monday night togger but at the time Eastenders was only on a Tuesday and Thursday and Corrie finished before the kickoff at 8pm.

The plans is to have a Friday night special and we will be the guinea pig.

Won't happen because of the possible FA Cup 4th round replay date scheduled 2 days earlier.

Will also be interesting to see how Friday night games sit with the Rugby League, given that Sky shows Friday night Super League games March to October and signed a new 7 year tv deal last January. Sky has 5 sports channels but currently gives rugby league the Sky Sports 1 slot.
