Heard nothing about that mate but have repeatedly pushed for a Greggs inside the stadium.

I offered to run it as a franchise myself with premium match prices.

.....Pies get poorer in quality but more expensive year on year......

At 2.50 at the Palace game I was told that the steak pies wernt ready yet.......I mean FFS were supposed to be a commercial enterprise.....

I get the fact that they have minimum wage workers, the shameless gets, but its not their fault that the preparation and service is so consistently poor. Its the management of the food place. There's no supervision as they're all over the show.

The Merseyside Police liason officer who is in touch with Everton and pushing for the earlier kick off naturally is a kopite.

If it's an earlier kick off on the Saturday, that means it won't be shown live on tv, as BT are showing Arsenal vs Spurs at 12:45pm. There is no way Sky can swap their game with BT, it is set in stone that BT has the 12:45 slot on a Saturday.

So Everton will lose £800,000 in tv revenue if this game is not shown on Sky.

If the game is moved to an earlier kick off on the Sunday, it will need to be switched with either Burnley vs WBA (12 noon kick off on Sky) or Newcastle vs Stoke (2:05pm kick off on Sky).

If the game is moved to the Sunday, poor old Liverpool will have to play Sunday-Tuesday (they play Spurs 2 days later on Feb 9), so Liverpool likely won't be very happy and may object.

Normally this game would be dead easy to switch, but because of the above, there are lots of difficulties. Which would lead one to think it may not be switched. I guess we will find out soon enough. If this winds up being an early kick off on the Saturday and thus not on tv, that will be a disgraceful decision and Everton should sue the police for loss of revenue.

How early could it possibly be if there's a live game on at 12.45?

Just tell the police to do what they are paid handsomely to do by the taxpayer and just leave things as they are FFS.

Tickets are now on sale for this game to FOREVERTON members...with the game being advertised as a 5:30 KO, surely they can't change the kick off time once tickets are on sale???
Read the small print -- if you now buy a ticket in advance then it doesn't what causes it but if the KO/date is changed you can't get your money back. This rule was introduced 2 or 3 seasons back. Whether its legal or not is another matter.

Food is so bad. I remember when Sayers used to do the pies etc - in normal life it's not something you'd see as good quality but what we have is at least a few notches down. I always feel ill after having them - rollover hot dogs is about all I can stomach in there

When will a final decision be made on this... have flights booked for saturday morning plus hotel booked and match ticket paid for.. would be gutted if they changed it:rant:

Knowing Everton they already know just haven't told us yet like usual make announcements hours or days after all other outlets......ala team news alerts at least an hour after twitter and SSN.

They have known about YBB away allocation since 23rd Dec but still no ticket bulletin.....

Face it were mushrooms........

Do we know whats happening with this? i was going to try and gets tickets when they go on general sale wednesday but if it does end up getting changed too a friday night i don't think i will beable to make it.
