You just know it's going to happen: 30 seconds left on the clock, the RS knocking the ball about to "ole's" with a 3-0 win secured, then Richarlison --being throughly piddled off by it all-- has a rush of blood, makes a stupid challenge, gets a straight red card, misses the next 3 matches costing us big time. ?

Might put a fiver on it.

Be happy to defend deep for 90 minutes and try to limit them to shooting from range. Lots of Dark Arts, long balls, time wasting, going down injured.

Hopefully Mina, Delph and Allan and Doucoure start, we need to be aggressive and force them to lose discipline...pressure in a sense is on for them, a point is useless.

The longer we keep it 0-0 the better, if they score early it's game over.

I’d even sacrifice the striker and maybe out Dele as a false 9, Richarlison and Gordon out wide. Just gives us an extra man in midfield and he might be able to find a pass on the counter.

We've also battered them in the past.

Talking about the "now" though, not the past, not history, not before. This season - they're up for it, they dominate. We're utter trash, simple as that. Logic dictates we get battered, anything else is a bonus.

Hopefully I'm as wrong as I can be, but realistically there's no way we win, with a slim chance of a draw depending largely on the first half against their 150% PED-supported tempo.

I haven't been to rawk for a while but they think we're dirty and will just try to cripple them.

I haven't seen that in Everton and besides, what would be the point of getting red cards and losing anyway when we need all our players for the next six games?
