Klopp absolutely throwing his toys out of the pram over Lallana, ronald keeps his thoughts to himself. Make no mistake them losing Lallana will directly change the way they aproach this game.

I don't think it will. Whoever they play usually plays well. I think it's down to our players to perform

I wandered onto Rawk a little earlier, there is plenty of garment rending in the derby thread over the fact the recent internationals have cost them Lallana for ten days. This sort of thing happens to them 'more than any other club'

The injury list now reads Bolasie, Coleman, Schneiderlin, McCarthy, Besic, Funes Mori. Whatever your opinion of these players they are all internationals, one is our record signing, 2 of our 3 most expensive midfielders, and 2 of our first choice back 4. They are also most of the core of our prime age players. As good as they are, Holgate, Lookman and Davies are teenagers, DCL is 20. Koeman's hands are tied by all these injuries. He's being forced to shoehorn in old players (Barry and Jags) and teenagers for one of the most frenetic fixtures we have.

Meanwhile Liverpool will probably field a midfield three of Can Wijnaldum and Coutinho, three full internationals from Germany Holland and Brazil all at peak age. Their one 'gamble' might be throwing in their Belgian international 10 mill striker Origi, that is if their 26 mill England international doesn't climb off his sick bed for one of his two games a season that he's arsed about.

This quite literally could be men v boys once again. This is the answer to the question people were asking 'why are we buying Bolasie, or Schneiderlin, we don't need them'

Don't think it's as bad as you make out. Can's been the Kop's whipping boy this season while Coutinho has gone off the boil since his injury layoff in December. Wish Funes Mori a speedy recovery but the guy is a liability. Replacing him with Holgate could be a blessing in disguise.

We're already replacing Coleman with Holgate, so Jags will have to come in for Funes Mori. It probably stops is going three at the back as well unless Koeman finds someone else to play RWB.

I thought Funes Mori had already lost his place to Jagielka.
I think if Funes Mori had been fit we may have gone with a back five to given Holgate cover at wing back. I doubt that he would play Pennington and Holgate in the same defence . He could play Holgate as a third centreback and play Kenny or Pennington as a wing back, although again that is a lot of inexperience .

Barry to play as a makeshift centre-back? He's played there before. Holgate to wing-back.

interesting to see what koeman will do here, for all his good work 2 of our worst performances were chelsea away and spurs away...time for that big result away from home

Barry plays we loose. He doesn't and we have a great opportunity

Rom vs Lucas/Klavan will be giving their lot nightmares similar to Mane running past Jags and Williams

Davies and Barkley for me are the main men. They play with their heads and full energy we will give them a good game.
