Hugely disappointed in him yesterday. He’s a senior player who has stepped in as captain on numerous occasions who’s played for some elite clubs but spends the whole game yesterday losing battles, making stupid mistakes and just generally looking scared of a 16 year old who isn’t exactly a household name. He should’ve been the one setting the example for the rest of the team. Yeah he was good last season but Christ he was bad yesterday.

Shocking defender, does nothing but give the ball away. Made a show of by a 16 year old yesterday.

Richarlison should be running riot every game but he can’t because he defends too much

He has been poor all season. He isn’t the best defensively but last season he wasn’t easy getting past and he stopped crosses coming in to our box. This season it’s to easy to get past him but his crossing has been woeful what has happened.

Something isn't right. Hes been atrocious all year and his effort levels have gone through the floor.

29 games in two years at Barcelona, a lot of football played here at Everton since. Could be tired but in my opinion he shouldn't be. What I think we are seeing right now unfortunately is a leveling out.

He's probably not as good as we thought he was last year but he's surely not as bad as this. The truth will likely be in between. Whilst he figures out how to play football again Baines should start.

He has a basic flaw in his game in that he continually makes the wrong decision between diving in with a challenge or holding off.

One thing I noticed yesterday (apologies if someone's already mentioned this) is that he was wearing a black armband. Not sure what for or who for, but he was the only one wearing one. Maybe that was another reason for his performance?

Showing signs of wanting out to me. Petty tackles and growing petulance in games. Very disappointed in him yesterday but also being dragged down by the Schneiderlins of the team in terms of attitude and appliation.

Where's he going? No better club than Everton is going to want him. At least not for the money we'd be asking for.

There are no players of genuine, undeniable quality at Everton, but there are a few whose games could be raised to the level of superior teammates.

I think that Digne is one of those, but at the moment it's going the other way with him.
