It amazes me people saying we should be keeping Digne and the Ukrainian should be an understudy.

It’s pretty obvious that won’t work, Digne and benetiz have fallen out. You cant have a player under minding the boss so he has to go. How hard is that to understand?

Selling Digne makes sense at his age and for 20m plus.
Thought the same thing . People are still saying they can't understand why we haven't invested in other areas instead ?

One of our best footballers. Some of his assists and general team play at the start of last season when he was linking with James was exceptional.

Wherever he goes, he will smash it.

You may be right, but for me TBH how many more years in him? Now 28, I would not like to see him hanging around like Baines did and Coleman is doing. Time for him to go while we can make a bundle in him.

What you do is....buy replacements/competition and ease them in/out. Nothing to do with keeping 33 year olds.

You don't sell you best players in there peak years and throw in a young replacement straight away...unless you're a selling club.

Reason why Coleman is still playing is that we've never attempted to replace him. By the sounds of it we're gonna buy some kick from the Scottish Sunday League. So still expect Coleman there for the time being
Right now we have to be a selling club. That’s the nub.
