The thing is Benitez ultimately hasn't lost the dressing room.

If he had he'll have been pumped by now ultimately.

We roll over against Arsenal and Hull and get a tonking if they didn't want to know.

I think the players are professional enough to know in football spats happen / some players and managers dont suit one another and they move on elsewhere.

The players won’t stop playing, of course. Life goes on. You’d be a fool not to think the players don’t talk about the manager between themselves though.

The other thing is Digne was very popular with the squad, well liked and respected. Again, the players will be speaking to him and getting his point of view.

Carragher said Liverpool players couldn’t believe he sold Alonso and Torres - they didn’t agree with it and lost some respect for him.

Same will happen here, the squad have seen Benitez for the petty, egotist that he is and will have diminished respect for him. They won’t stop playing for him but they won’t agree with the way he’s handled Digne, they’ll be gutted a good player and teammate is leaving and it will give them questions about the manager…..quite rightly to be fair.

Mina unfortunately does probably have to be sold, as he just can't stay fit. Shame, he's brilliant really. Club have to make that call.

Richarlison - think he's been earmarked for a sale this summer all along. He'll be at PSG when Mbappe goes to Madrid, unless they do go all out for Haaland...

I don't think DCL will be here next season if Benitez stays.

I just wonder how hard Mina has tried to be fit for this manager tbh.

100% he has to get results now.

See it's this sort of stuff that makes you look ridiculous because you have, on many occasions called Benitez a fraud, lunatic and lacking principles, but here you are holding him up over a player who has previously had no issue with any other manager at the club.
Whatever you say. Keep defending players that have let this club down and I'll keep calling them out for the fakes they are.

Like I said when Villa play at Goodison in a few weeks he will get a better reception and more support then some of our actual players.
Vault me if I'm wrong.
Course he will. Because he has been treated terribly and its led to a bad ending because of the manager. And the majority of fans can see that.

Same way niasse got a massive reception when koeman brought him back in because he had been treated despicably. (In a worse way than digne has mind, but neither has been good)
