Diaz came from a very poor background. He came from the indigenous area of Guajira and was not developed by some club or youth academy in any way.

He was discovered in an indigenous tournament and was given an opportunity.

The man is all about hard work and dedication. After his breakthrough copa America, he went back home to Guajira to play on the streets with his people. Playing on dirt with no shoes

the man is the opposite of a diva, the opposite of James
