Lukaku - Love affair over ?

I’d still have him here in a heartbeat though. He would be a monster for us with the pace either side of him.

Like martial, rashford and sanchez?

People need to stop looking at what he looks like and thinking they are reading a marvel comic book. He's clumsy and flat footed. A very well being 6ft 4 and 15 stone but when you have no heart or aggression it means nothing.

I doubt he even gives his time with us a second thought.
His inconsistencies will be his defining factor. Turns up on the odd occasion when it suits him, unlike his fellow countryman Eden Hazard who is effective every game.

I noticed that as well against Derby. He just looked so awkward.

He was the best striker we had for years and scored 20+ goals a season. He also played for us when we had less creative players than what we have now. Not only that he’s capable of scoring goals on his own, something our current forwards can’t do.

He was the big fish here so to speak which seemed to suit him. At United he’s just another number in a team of massive egos.

If you spent 10 years in prison and when you got out you had a greasy kebab you would think it's the best meal ever.... that's us with Lukaku.

Let's face it.... take any quality striker and give him to Davie Moyes and he would get ruined. Moyes was awful with strikers.

A greasy kebab IS the best meal ever.

think a step up was always going to be difficult for him, if you remember our big games he barely turned up

even with their lack of success every game for united is a cup final to the opposition,he doesnt suit playing against defenders who are on their maximum concentration
