This is probably more a reflection on his agent I suppose but Lukaku himself appears to grow more embittered as the years go by. What could’ve been eh?

I don't think any team capable of winning the CL bar Chelsea (and that avenue has closed now) would want him. He has shown his level is not up to that, he excels in a team like what we had or WBA as there is space in behind for him to cause real damage and fill his boots.

That would speak more about the defenders and defending than the space I think. Although saying that I was actually surprised the space he had last time compared to how Italian football used to be.

Don't get me wrong he will score goals with perseverance in any team, he would be great for us in our situation but we would hit that glass celling again as he isn't tearing up say VVD even though he has all the attributes to do so.
