Sounds impressive.....Has he won a trophy yet?

Just had a check.... Nothing, scored the winner to secure a runners up medal in Europa cup final but never collected it. Blimey.... Goes to all that effort to secure the winner and doesn't collect his medal...... Apparently chelsea have got one for him from the super cup, he won that runners up medal for the team too..... Apparently he passed the ball back to the keeper from the penno spot to secure the runners up spot.

i dunno.... All these people saying he chokes in big games, he wins silver medals for fun!!!

And here's me thinking it was only RS bellends who were weird

Yep... Its deffo a goal that didn't win us any points. Happy to chalk that off in case becomes a flat track bully.

Tell me.... Where does he stand in the "scored loads of goals playing against farmers at the age of 16 and when you compare him to Messi at the same age it may actually make you think he can control a ball like him" stats?

Pedro you're probably one of these who started laughing at Rom going to Inter because he'd struggle in Serie A because they can defend well but now hes scored alot there it's a farmers league. Typical Rom hater

I'm probably one of those who just thought a load of fans got a bit intoxicated and carried away by the lad ..... Usually the giveaway was calling him a "beast" - definate bedwetter trait that one, probably wear full Everton kits and watch NFL on Sundays wearing Philadelphia Eagles tops.....

I don't hate Rom, I just hate the fact that our club got so low that some fans actually seen him as being worthy of being able to sell himself when on international break, telling managers how to play, strolling round half arsed.....

Good finisher, bang average footballer, serial big game bottler. That last statement is factually correct.

Do you judge DCL the same yet? I believe some of his goals have been pointless in big wins against West Ham, West Brom and Brighton, I enjoy Everton players scoring goals so why you all used to moan at Lukaku because he scored the 2nd goal in the latter stages of a game to kill it. Yet all go mad over DCL or Jesus scoring a third away at palace for City to kill a game when the title race was close. Its weird

I'm all for discounting meaningless goals - I'd rather count meaningful contributions to the team performance. Bit difficult for some to identify with but hey ho......

So feel free to chalk off any non meaningful goals for Dom.... absolutely. I've supported him through low goal returns based on less tangible measures that require a person to actually watch and understand the game.

A similar case is apparent right now in the absence of Richarlison.... If you measured him by his goals this season you would think he is garbage..... The reality is that a player with the ability to defend from the front, stop the defenders playing out, who can actually hold and retain the ball and offer expansive play with others is worth more than personal goal records

Just out of curiosity, I'd like to ask the Lukaku haters what they think of Bob Latchford? For those who don't know who he is he is one of a long line of famous Everton Centre forwards, used to walk on water and scored loads.
However he never scored against the rs and didn't win any silver ware. Probably be classed as a flat track bully on here by many.

Personally I'd love to have someone like him or Lukaku in the team now as there's a good chance they'd have won us some points at Soton and Newcastle.

Before my time, but I remember my Dad used to sing One goal at a time, Bob Latchford around the house.
Always wondered if we actually sang that at the match, or if it was just him because he liked country music.

We did sing it when that particular country song was popular.

''One goal at a time, Bob Latchford.
That's all we're asking of you.
If you hit the bar, we all say 'ahhh',
One goal at a time.''
