What Lukaku would not have done, or been able to do was to help take the sting out of Fulham like DCL did. Some of DCLs hold up play, ball winning and buying fouls was unreal. We were under the cosh big time and his presence was too notch.

Lukaku will do just fine in Italy. His time in the prem is done.

Still don’t think he would do this in the Prem. The Italian league suits him, slower pace, more hanging around waiting for chances to come to him. He has always had the physical tools but he isn’t always eager to use them.

He wouldn't do what? He had a 25 goal season in the PL. He already did it.
 


I love him but he is such a dope sometimes, whys he standing on the goalie anyway instead of trying to make a run and win the header himself.

Tell you what, though, I wouldn't want to be Cagliari on Sunday. It's all well and good turning up for the so-called big occasions, but it's those mild lunchtimes in Sardinia that the greats look back on.

Tbf Rom turned up and kept them alive last week and in another game he turned up only for his work to be undone by Vidal giving away two goals on his own. He scored 4 goals in 5 appearances against 3 good teams. This isn't on him anymore than anyone else in that side.
