I still say now that whilst he is a very good penalty box striker .... We would have lost that game with Lukaku today and yeah he would have scored the 2 goals that DCL did.

What Lukaku would not have done, or been able to do was to help take the sting out of Fulham like DCL did. Some of DCLs hold up play, ball winning and buying fouls was unreal. We were under the cosh big time and his presence was too notch.

Lukaku will do just fine in Italy. His time in the prem is done.

He wouldn’t be scoring meaningful goals like he is in Serie A, he’d just be “game won up steps Rom” all over again and disappearing in every big game.

Tbf Rom turned up and kept them alive last week and in another game he turned up only for his work to be undone by Vidal giving away two goals on his own. He scored 4 goals in 5 appearances against 3 good teams. This isn't on him anymore than anyone else in that side.
