Jose said it like that means a single thing. Honestly anything Jose has said in the last 5 years is probably the opposite of the truth.Of course not. But he doesn't have to prove anything.
You implied Rom's not a bottler in a league where players go to retire.
I love Rom. But wouldn't stick him up with the best due to that he does bottle it on the big stage. Jose said it, did well for us, flopped at United, scored a pen and a winning OG in the Europa League final.
Should be hitting his peak now. So let's see what he does.

Rom didn't flop at United fwiw. That team wasn't very good and he still scored and assisted. His help aside from Pogba was guys like Young, Valencia and Lindelof. He got blamed essentially for not making an average team great and then was sent packing because Ole thought Martial was better. Ole got saved by Cavani on a free.
You think he's flopping at Inter right now so I'm not sure this is the right conversation to jump intolol lol lol lol lol

None of these things are true anymore. Maybe he just needed a real manager not Ole and the current burn the place down on the way out version of Jose.He always will score and assist but they spent £80mill to improve an average side. His flaws for us shone more at United cos the spotlight was on him. Touch of a trampoline, couldn't hold the ball up, not a target man, hid in bigger games. He then got a cob on.
Ole got Martial and Rashford to hit career high goals without Rom (17 each) when they sold him.
I like how the only way for people to argue against him right now is to say it isn't the PL.I don't though; I think he's doing very well for his level. Right at the limits of what he can do.
My point regarding him is how he's a liability to the team, particularly in continental competition outside the farmer league he's in, or any cup competition really.
Hence why they're out of their domestic cup and embarrassed themselves in the Champions League.

My opinion is he was their best attacker in 17/18 and they blamed him for not being amazing the next year when they stunk as a team. As a supporter base that loves to blame our good players for the bad players not being good enough we should he familiar with how that goes.
Yes but none are key players now. Sanchez and Darmian are backups and Young is a utility player. They still are. He just gets away with it more in Italy.
And as for the previous point of Rom being in a team with Ashley Young etc...he ended up at a team with Young, Sanchez, Darmian all ex-united driftwood.
