My analysis? Ah good..... Yes ok. His value of 288m is made up of 5 transfers...... 5!

9m more than Neymar who was made up of 2 transfers.

On the list suprise surprise is Alvaro Morata.
So ..... Let's look at the value of the transfers...... £13m to Chelsea from Anderlecht, failed to score and missed a penno in cup final was sold to us....£32m - impressed many fans not all who seem him as a flat track bully who went missing in big games. Disrespectful of the club every time he went on international duty.

Got a £76m move to United and was jibbed off really. Went fat, missing, couldn't control a ball. United fans not missed him.

Sold at a loss to Inter where he liked the slow pace of the league and managed to get Chelsea to take an expensive punt on him.

Not world class by a long shot when you look at his career like that.
Slow pace of Serie A a big problem for the Italian side - you could see it at the Euros, they really struggled.

Anyhow - point is you have a massive value proposition here so how to capitalise? The market says Chelsea are on the path to victory, stomping all comers because no defence can withstand beast-mode Lukaku. But the real picture is that they basically have Stuart Barlow up front, and only the true students of the game recognise this fact.
So you need to heave on when the time is right - CL semi-final, crunch league game in Feb, something like that.

There's the word beast again..... It kinda tells you alot about how some people watch the game. The same type of people who thought tyson fury never stood a chance against Klitschko, Wilder and probably the same against Joshua cos they have some sort of muscles = better.

Look at the facts, Lukakus first relevant trophy came in the same side as a semi retired Ashley Young.

He is a big game flop. Scored an OG in the Europa final having fluffed his lines in the champions League game against Barca's b side which was a must win.

Failed spectacularly for us Vs man United in fa cup semi.... As he did for his country in several more crucial games.

Tell me you aren't paying attention without telling me you aren't paying attention. He was a major part of every big game Inter won last season in route to the title.

Proper bizarre takes in here like. He's a world class striker he guarantees 20+ goals a season and has just reached his peak. he wasn't world class when we sold him but he was well on his way he improved season on season. Not sure where the argument is really. Opinions and all that though.

I think he was. It's tough to figure out where the world class line lies but he went to United for 90m because he was in the conversation. My take is he's been at that level since his last year here when he scored 20+ goals in a Koeman side.
