Lukaku. Yes or no

That isn't lost on me I don't think. But it is also why a bunch of damaged Evertonians come on here and look to tear Lukaku down.

I personally don't operate that way, but what concerns me more is not whether that attitude is good or bad so much as the dishonesty it brings.

We aint damaged. We are UK football fans. (I guess there is line that could disprove that mind!).

And there is no dishonesty. Unless you are suggesting that some fans dont like Rom cos he is a Black man. If you are, be brave, and not hide behind the snide.

Player disrespects club = fans revel in any downturn he has. Healthy? Not really. Reality? Very much so.

There is a lot of dishonesty about how good he's been throughout his career.

People are just way too damaged from Lukaku telling us to do one.

The correct take is Rom is a high level striker who is one of the greats of this era even if he's not the greatest (he's obviously not). Also correct is that his teams level of success is not exclusively tied to him (United were a mess, Chelsea now are saddled with beating two amazing sides, even Inter didn't win only because of him, Conte and the team were great too) and shouldn't be used as a stick to beat him with as an individual.

Anyone trying to have a go at him for this that and the other has some kind of outside issue with the guy whether it be how he left, how he conducts himself or something more unsavory. There isn't anything else to discuss and Ashley freaking Young doesn't change it.

damaged by Lukaku ??? not really he is irrelevant - he had an opportunity to make himself relevant in the FA Cup semi final but bottled it like he does in all big games.

"great" - no.... he's not great, great players deliver when the pressure is at its most. This fella cant do it against top 4 opposition where defenders don't allow him to do as he wants.

He has earned a fortune out of the game - good luck to him. Could have been a very good player but far too arrogant to think he had work to do on fundamentals.

As for the insinuation that its because he is black - you need to get in the queue to use that cop out - as some idiots are using that to temper the anger towards Zouma.

did Everton fans dislike Gana Gueye after he left? no. Because he had respect for us.... he's black btw

Thats what I mean why you dont get it. Its not your fault, but UK football fans can carry a grudge like no other. He disrespected Everton, and therefore us. Thats him toast, even if he won everything everywhere.

The fact he hasnt done all that really, is fuel to the fire. Didnt you try to argue that a bouncing Goodison didnt make any difference a while back, despite never being at a game? If so, its the same thing, again.

No I don't think I did.

I fully do get it. You all don't like him and want to revel in his failures. What you're failing to grasp is that it makes you inherently biased against him. And that's all I'm saying really. Is no one in here is objective and everyone tries to act as if they are.

Mate you can't post in here this much and then do the "I'm not arsed though" thing

If you were so objective you’d agree his career has been a bit of a let down.

You deffo couldnt get why an angry Goodison made a difference.

Of course we want him to fail. Like I said, that is what UK football fans do. Its not a healthy disposition, but thats the reality. On the flip side, numerous players have left Everton and been cheered when they done well.

And it isnt unique to Everton. Every single fan base have the same feelings about ex players that you nor me have never even heard of.

In the same way Wayne Rooney's was but sure

Pardon? United’s record goalscorer, won every domestic cup going at United, 2nd all time top scorer in PL, England’s youngest ever scorer, I could go on. lol

For someone demanding objective posts you’re far too much of an emotional poster. So much dumb crap comes out of you before you realise you’ve said it.

That was not me. I'm not reading the rest.

You've actually made my point thanks.
