I used to fkn love Tony Cottee. My grandfather (who got me into supporting Everton) didn't like him, and when we signed him didn't think he was any good. I on the other hand (as a 6 year old at the time) just saw that we'd signed the most expensive player in British football, so automatically had a new hero.
So my grandad said to me "whenever he scores for Everton, I'll give you £1, and £5 if he ever gets a hat trick". Cue the debut hat trick, and me feeling like i was absolutely fkn rich, with £5 in my pocket as a 6 year old in 1988!

Brennan already covered the second part, as for starting games - if Martinez starts Jela or Kone over this lad, he needs his head examining, tbh.
I'd love to see him play alongside Jelavic to see how that would work. Think they could play off each other well.

Would of been great if we had him at the start of the season. Would have won WBA with ease and Norwich to be honest. Should have won Cardiff but then I sound like a kopite saying we will win every game.
