Thing is in the same way you can't go out and spend big on a player who has a great World Cup, unless your stupid it also works the other way. Managers who know what a player can do wont lower the price based on a bad World Cup turn out, pretty sure clubs have the value in mind allready, including Everton and Chelsea.

Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku failed to register a single touch in the opposition area
And their manager saw him as the problem when his midfield was anonymous and subbed him. He had poor games for us but at least received the ball in those games. I hope, like others, that he doesn't see much of the ball or stand our for the rest of the tournament and we're one of a very few clubs after him.

We should get him nea. His first touch is inconsistent back to goal but theres glimpses of it being quite good now and then. At 21 you still can improve your weaknesses and develop as a player, and I think hes good enough to iron those weaknesses out of his game.

As much as I think he's not coming back, I can't help but remember when he ran to Roberto & embraced him after scoring. Is it just me, or is that an odd thing for a loan player to do?

For the record, I'd love to have him back so RM can mould him into the player he could become.

Option A -- Sign a 20 year old pote tially world class player and consistent goalscorer whose first touch isnt the best which has been highlighted with him playing as more of a target man rather than his natural game.

Option B -- Sign another Kone

Option C -- Spend the entire transfer budget on a proven player in their late 20s who also has his faults.

Option D -- Sign an unknown player

Option E -- Dont sign anyone.

Out of interest who would you sign who would come to Everton?

Option F -- Loan another striker.

For me it's a no brainer, sign Lukaku, he studies other players games nonstop at home apparently, so if anyone is willing to work on their weaknesses, it's him!

Bobby should send rom a little insparational text.
One that says stuff like ' all you needed was one chance' and ' you are a fantastic person and player'
Just to get in his head a little so rom thinks ' hey this fella genuinly wants me to plsy for him'
