Just gonna leave this here for all of the people who are crying 'swerve!' because he has a "bad touch"..

15 goals in a season where we got our highest ever premier league toal and people are ignoring blatent flaws in his overall game just because of this 1 in 2 nonsense.

Take Saha, Yak, AJ, Beckford even bloody James Beattie and place them in a lone role withg the support and play we ha d last year and they would score 15 goals, Saha and Yak would have scored 20+ last season no doubt in my mind whatsoever.

Our years under Moyesies Striker deprivation tactics have left some people completely desperate. Lukaku appeals to fanboys i'm afraid - he was a legend before he was even a footballer. There are better options out there that will cost less Wilfried Bony, Loic Remy, - I would have had Rickie Lambert for £7m instead of blowing £20m+ on Lukaku. Jay Rodriguez scored 15 bloody goals.

Everyone seems to be doing some sort of investment appraisal "yeah he may cost £25m but we could get £40m for him..." we need more than a poacher who has the odd moment of individual inspiration - for me defenders will have him worked out before long, many already have sussed out how to dela with him "get tight and don't let him turn"

Read a few chelsea forums... they clearly see why Mourinho does not want him.

Sorry but that is crap, to score 15 premier league goals you must be a good player.

He scored 17 goals in a mediocre west brom team and has an almost 1 in 2 record

Really bad isn't he

In which case he is in the company of:- Grant Holt, Peter Odemwingie, Uwe Rosler, Dean Holdsworth, Chris Armstrong, John Hartson, Hamilton Ricard, Angel, Benjani, Santa Cruz, Demba Ba - all pretty limited footballers who scored 15 goals+ for mediocre teams.

For our system he needs to offer more. For the right team he would be a great impact player to bring on, for us his "off" games are too costly.

Of the people youve quoted how many have scored over 15 goals 2 seasons running in the league.....

At the age of 20.

He's scored goals for fun in each team he's been given a run in, in consecutive seasons, and has only just turned 21. Behave mate.

He's the complete forward, reminds me very much of Alan Shearer. Awesome hold up play, strength, great in the air, works hard, great shot. I would spend £20m no hesitation.
I've got to say, Id love Bony here, he'd have a field day up front for us I reckon. But in all honesty, I wouldn't be disappointed in either Rom or Bony for 20m, although I know you'll disagree.

Mobility of a german tank.
Thats a perfect description actually. Would lead our very own blitzkreig. Panzers were utter boss, barring some daft tactical decisions by Hitler like marching into a Russian winter they would have won him the war. The British and French tanks however were torn to shreds during the invasion of France.
Now how does that song go...
"AND IF YOU KNOW YOUR HISTORY..."

Bony could be playing for a CL side next season given his performace last season and if he has a good world cup so the questions really is.......How much is in that War Chest?
