£32M for him though? We would struggle to find £20M so if thats the fee its a complete non starter.

Sorry but £32 buys you world class (aguero, Costa etc) and this kid isnt it yet. Hes got the potential to be the next drogba, but atm his second touch is a tackle and tbh his shooting from outside the box is shocking for such a strong lad. He never seems to get his timing quite right to get power and accuracy.

Id honestly rather buy bony, get the next 3/4 seasons of a more complete striker while Lukaku gets more experience.

If everton are paying circa £20M for anyone we need finished product. We dont have the millions chelsea do to just hoard talent.

Saying all that though, the signal of intent it sends out if we did buy him is enormous.

Luke Shaw isn't world class either and they've apparently rejected a 27 million offer, for a left back!

We all want a cheaper price, because we're buying.

But if Lukaku was contracted to us right now and we were to sell him, sorry but I'd be pretty cheesed off if we sold him for 20 million.

The way i look at it is this, lets pretend if he has been an Everton player for these past two seasons. He is the third highest scorer in the premiership.

West Ham offer us 15 million, just imagine the fume.
 
massive difference though is that Rom is basically surpluse to requirments at Chelsea, if theyre buying cost for £32M they surely cant expect the same back to Lukaku...it makes no sense.

Chelsea sold Sturridge to Liverpool for £12-15M on January didnt they? If a player doesnt fit they just want money to spend elsewhere.

Shaw is wanted desperately by Southampton, hes young and English...hes an absolute premium. If you dont want to sell you give a ridiculous price and hope someone is daft enough to pay it...bit like selling Man U Fellaini for £27M...we were all delighted with that.
 
If Lukaku had come through our academy and still had the scoring record of 1-2 people on here would be claiming he's worth £50m easily.

Origi looked much better . Lukaku is totally overrated. Terrible first touch . Mobility of a german tank. Lazy. One good game every month or so. No Thanks
