Lukaku dream of becoming the player Yak was. Pre injury and despite Moyes tring to turn Yak into Marcus Bent, he was an amazing striker.

If we had a 2008 Yakubu last season we would have finished 4th - I honestly believe that.

If we had a Linekar of 1986 we would have won the league...

The fee is based on his goals in the last two years and potential. The complete packages are 40-50m.

An absolute steel at 20 -25 mill for me. Id blow the whole thing on him if we have a sniff of a permo - which i dont think we do.

Yet he still doesn't want him back... That will be because the centre forward under Mourinho's sytem needs to be able to bring the attacking midfielders into play. Drogba was amazing at it.

Genuinely think Mourinho was disappointed in him for leaving last summer to guarantee first team football. Because of that lack of fight I think hes washed his hands with him. Goals cost Chelsea the league last season, Lukakum if he had stayed would probably played more often than not and won the league with them.

He doesnt want him back, seems fairly clear to me...which is why hes not worth anywhere near £32M

I'd be happy with either Bony or Lukaku, for around the same fee. Lukaku has tons of potential but Bony is great with the ball at his feet. Lukaku the master of first touch finishes, Bony class in the air.

On balance I'd say Bony would suit our style of play more, but you'd be mad to pass up either.

I'm not entirely sure that's true tbh. Buying Lukaku with a view to making a profit on him further down the line will be a factor for the board in all likelihood, but I'm not sure we need to do it. We could at this point buy Bony, wave goodbye to making any profit on him and get 6 or 7 good years out of him without really worrying about financial implications. We won't like, but we could.

Campbell had a good partnership going with Jeffers at one point, i ain't seen a partnership like that at Everton since, if i remember rightly didn't Kev play better for us on loan and then when we signed him proper he sort of went a bit crapper, do players play out of thier skin while on loan and then get a little bit complacent when signed up hhhhmmm????

the feed the yak chant came from his time at boro. hes a first season wonder at every club he has been too. pants every other after. he scored 12 goals in 68 games over his last 3 seasons for us.
and ...... campbell is one of the most natural strikers we have had in the premier era imo. we would have dropped out the prem if it wasnt for him. and his goals came when our team was nowhere nere as good as the one yak played in.
