To be fair, completely proven what I meant - he's superb when he's running at power in a counter attacking, open flowing system. But ask him to hold up a ball when a side is pushing on and he falls apart, as he did in his group stage games.
 
From the simple ball played to Rom he put yedlin away, they fouled him, second passage of play and goal....

That's the stuff you can't really have. That's why mourinho won't keep him.
