Do you keep up with football transfers? Because that is about right. Just because the papers paint us out as 'little Everton that can't go for top players', whether true or false, does not alter his value.
If Adam Lallana is going for that money, Lukaku certainly should. If we get him for below £20M then Bobby is a miracle worker.

Now then, personally I would offer them £18M with add-ons based on goals and appearances up to £25M. I don't really get all of the intricacies of football transfer protocol but this would be my kind of deal.

When I say £40M + I mean a Chelsea £40M the fact they are taking £50m for Luiz shows me they can dictate the price for their players and it won't surprise me if that happens to Lukaku.
I trust roberto, but if we spend 30m on him and nobody else comes in, we are in for a very long and average season.

Having 2 years on his contract helps if he doesn't want to extend at Chelsea. Fact is though when Lallana is valued at 25m at the age of 26 then the goalposts have moved again in valuations, as expected with the new influx of tv money.
