And hope has now been born again.

Hope so. Guess it is more to do with not updating his twitter thing though. Got a World Cup to get ready for or something hasnt he?

Would be gutted if he went anywhere else in England. Well anywhere really, but England even more so.

Same here mate but if he goes he goes and we will move on. I think its @Mikey_Fitzgerald who makes a really good point though about us being able to offer him 85% of what he wants as in stability ( I don't think he will want to be classed as a loan player journeyman ), fans love him, managers and players do, decent wedge and a guaranteed starter. Just CL togger missing and in don't think we are too far from that either. From the outside I would say Everton look like a very very attractive proposition to a footballer.

You know, on one hand Everton should represent a great move for Lukaku. He'll be the main striker, never be short of game time and will be part of a team that can challenge for European places and could even look at a cup run. Indeed, if Lukaku did come to Everton, it might entice other players to come as it would show Everton is serious and wants to compete. Within a couple of years, he could have the CL football he craves. He's still so young

However, players these days want everything right away. I think players would rather be a small part of a team that already plays in the CL, than be the main part of a team that's challenging for it. Even younger players feel that way. So many players would rather take a contract and a bit part in a CL team, even if it means they'll only play once or twice in the competition at most, that go to a team that doesn't have CL football right away

Just the way the World is

If a team like Arsenal come in and offer Lukaku 20 Million to come in and be back up for Giroud and play a few CL games, he won't even think twice I fear

That's the complete opposite of what Lukaku would do. If he wanted to be a back up he would have just stayed at Chelsea. He wants to be the main man, he's said as much time and time again.

If the money's right, he'd play in goal for Rotheram mate

That is sadly what football has come to

You ever heard Lukaku talk about football? The lad isnt bothered about money, he simply wants to play football every week. If he was more bothered about money he would of stayed at Chelsea the last two seasons and do nothing.
