He really needs to learn when the ball is in the opposition half walking around isnt acceptable. Atsu broke so many times and Lukaku was a good 15 yards away.
Some one needs to tell him to get In box....time and again Atsu Baines & even McCarthy beat their man , quick look up and Lukaku isnt near the box....needs a rocket up his ass.

ROMELU LUKAKU became Everton's record signing just two months ago, though he is already talking about moving on. Not from Goodison Park, but from a milestone and accompanying statistic which suggests this local rivalry has rather run aground.

When Everton confront Liverpool at Anfield tomorrow, it will be 15 years to the day since their last victory on enemy territory when Kevin Campbell scored in front of The Kop to seal a 1-0 success. Lukaku, aged just six back then, is well aware it is time to end the wait.

"I know and understand what that goal meant for the club," he said. "You can't erase him from the history here, but we can repeat what he did. It's time to move on. The fans are waiting for it. "It will be a good game because Liverpool don't have the results and we are in a bit of a corner where everything is against us. So it will be a nice game for the neutral - but better for
Evertonfans."

He scores tomorrow hell have 3 in 6 league games ala in 1 goal in 2 games which is exactly why we paid £28 million for him. You make through balls to him and he scores like we saw against Palace it's not his fault we lack the players technical enough to put him through on goal.

Also if he scores tomorrow he'll have scored 3 in 6 in games which included playing Chelsea, Arsenal, liverpool and a tough away to Leicester, one of those games he was playing despite having no pre season behind him, another he was played out of position and the other he was playing through an injury.

Some fans think we are Chelsea with what we demand of our players lukaku is the best striker we can attract im thankful we don't have to watch mid table fodder like Jelavic and anichebe and Beckford up front

This.

There's no making some people happy but he will bag 15-20 this season while improving his all round game.

I don't know what people are expecting, strikers are bloody expensive.

I'm convinced he'll be one of the best forwards in Europe going into Euro '16. Yes he's frustrating when he can't control a ball but had Barks been fit I reckon he'd be on 5/6 goals already. He's had three decent chances so far this season, and scored two of them.

Lukaku's problem is simply this;

Last season he was our main striker. We didn't always play the ball to him but he was the man who's job was to run through the middle, get in the box and score. As any striker should do. It worked to the tune of 15 goals and a fair few match winners. Wonderful stuff.

This season we are playing Naismith as that striker because, in all fairness he has been great for us. So lukaku has to then drop back or go out wide and that doesn't suit his game, or at the very least he has never done that before. If Barkley hadn't got injured then he would be playing up top and probably having a better time of things, but you don't drop a striker in form so in an everton only way, our record signing is being played simply for the sake of it.
