Course it does when he's off form. When he's on form it'll look like a pittance. As with any player.Come on guys im being an idiot, but Rom is a huge worry surely you can see that £28m looks an awful lot now.
Would have been good negotiating that Paul since Welbeck cost Arsenal 16m and Origi 10m - if you were so good perhaps you could have brought Rom for 22m.Rather have spent £20m on Origi + Welbeck than £28m on Rom

The 2 of them combined are cheaper and there both better players. Go figure....
I agree, mate. There's a lot that he could learn from Denis...needs some time out the team to work on his attitude. Give him a video tape of the Straq
haha, i'm only joking of course. though to be fair, considering how poor he was, the amount of game time straq got spoke volumes about how having a good attitude can go a long wayI agree, mate. There's a lot that he could learn from Denis...
I think it says more about how poor our striking options were that season tbh mate. Before Jelavic had his burst of goals we basically had Strac and a finished Saha.haha, i'm only joking of course. though to be fair, considering how poor he was, the amount of game time straq got spoke volumes about how having a good attitude can go a long way
"this lad played in 27 games ffs Rom"
Quite like Welbeck played centrally but an on form Lukaku is a fantastic striker - powerful and clinical - so given the choice between the two I'm happy we signed Lukaku even with the price difference. I've seem Origi play less than 10 times and all those were international games, too early imo to judge how much he is worth. The 2 of them combined are cheaper and there both better players.
