With or without dreads?I didn't notice Origi at all last night.
I was buzzing off Lukaku though. Fecking love him.
One of the lads at work looks like him too.

Without. But then, I've never seen him not wearing a hard hat so I could be wrong! With or without dreads?
No mate, he was garbage... Not once did he get past a player as I recall, Christ he got outpaced by a 36 ? Year old Distin, not once did he offer any threat at all. I don't care who a player plays for, ifs he's ineffective I wil say it.Must have just been me who noticed his excellent work rate on minimal service. When he did get the ball played to him his touch is very good, excellent speed and plays with his head up.
I don't need to see a good team performance to judge a player, you can learn more when someone is in a team being outplayed.
But hey! this is the "let's not worry about spending £28m on Rom because......" Thread. We don't need to worry about a Liverpool player here.
Be nice to see him score or even get in scoring positions
What was your appraisal of Origi from last night @hafnia, now you've seen him for about 3 games like?
johnny I love your enthusiasm ,the lad did well on Thursday ,he's no drogba and he doesn't have all the tools in the box or he would not be at everton, what he does have is the best coach on the planet to teach him the 2 main tools he has missing ,working with Duncan Ferguson is a master stroke. The kid is going to be the best all around striker in the world within a few years. He's got every tool in the box, and a great attitude to go with it. He's also got Dunc and Eto'o to mentor him. You're starting to see him put the pieces together. No doubt in my mind, he will be favorably compared to Drogba in his prime in the very near future. I'm not saying he'll score as many as Messi or Ronaldo, but he will do things they won't even think of or can't.
At the age Origi is now (19) Rom was at West Brom where he slotted 17 Premier League goals.
They are two completely different players. Lukaku will never be able to do what Origi is capable of (his technique is brilliant); but Origi will never slot goals as easily as Lukaku does. It depends what kind of striker you need in your team, I guess.
I'd much rather have Rom. Someone who can create a goal from nothing and has a finish that beggars belief when on form. Much rather have that than a guy who can take a ball down and run. Goals win games. They are two completely different players.
