I hope that article isn't true, and playing Football Agent for a second I'm not convinced it would be the right move for him anyway. To replace Diego Costa and try and be as good as last seasons Atleti would not be easy. Big Rom trudging around in the Spanish heat, sweating his balls off whilst the crowd give him their special brand of 'chanting'. I still hope he fancies becoming a Goodison hero, playing up top with Barkley, for (imo) the best young manager around.

TBH what Simeone has done there escalates him some distance above Martinez in the "best young manager around" stakes. I cant see Lukaku at Atleti either though, especially on loan.
