Meanwhile Lukaku is touting his supposed future team mate Courtouis with a return to the Premier League, strange thing to do if your joining Atleti.

Asked about the possibility of his Belgium team-mate playing in west London next season, Lukaku said: “I don’t know, I only read about it – you’ll have to ask him.

“I think it’s time. He’s played at a very high level in Spain for three years. It’s time to see him in England.”

I'm not sure why it's a big deal. He simply said that Lukaku would be great at Atletico if that's where he ends up, also known as the truth.
 
8/1 on us to sign him now.
13/10 Atletico.

Prices were 4/1 and 3/1 respectively a week ago.

Looks like it's moving towards a done deal for atletico now:(
 
Romelu saying its time to see courtois in england. Makes me thinknhe believes england is the best league and so he would himself prefer to stay in the league himself.

Whether thats with us I dont know.
 

And Bobby is just talking up the players.. Like Del is good enough for Barca first team- He talks like he cares so much no matter where they end up, it's only gonna work in our favour in the long run. He understands the players ambitions and needs, and treats them like adults and friends

This, very switched on is our Bobby. "If he does end up going there.." isn't confirming anything. I'm still positive about this so I hope there's not more to it.

He does, and you can understand to a degree why Mourinho got the hump with it.

It's nothing to do with him 'liking the sound of his own voice.' He was clearly asked a question by the press, and he answered it like a professional. What was he meant to say? "F off Juve, Belgium pay my wages, and Jose has told me I'm his number one. I'm not interested, I'd never sign for you gang of wonkas"????

Spot on mate far better to understand the modern footballer and adapt rather than live in the stoneage causing upset. Word will get round and young players of potential will see us as a positive step rather than dead end.
 
I don't see how people have ever thought it possible Rom would return. Since he packed his boots I don't think he's mentioned us in dispatches at all not even the hint of a return it's like we don't exist. The likes of Atleti will give him similar passionate support, sunshine, a bag of money and most important Champions League and they aren't the only ones. Grim as it is we're not in the game.
