Dave Abrahams, is it Lukaku's general all round play that doesn't impress you, or his goal ratio too?

19 this season can't be sniffed at, although I do agree only 9 in the league is a pretty poor return.

Looking at goals alone, say he'd scored 25 this season - more than anyone since 1986? - and 20 of them were in the league, would this impress you more?

We would be able to pay his wages when clearing the dead wood. I say an attempt should at least be made. Now or never for Wayne and Everton.

Earlier posts talking about Lukaku's goal numbers - 20 goals is great for the season but how many in Premier League? Not enough, not even close. I don't believe Harry Kane is or will be a better striker than Lukaku but he put up more goals. Same with someone like Charlie Austin. Bony, Benteke in my mind are most comparable to Lukaku and he's not close to them in goals. Yeah, QPR got relegated but still - if you had said Lukaku would barely clear double digits in goals in premier league at the start of the season, you would have thought that was insane.
