Lukaku's Everton Frustration

What he said may be correct, but absolutely no need to go running to the press with it. We've been nothing but good to him and he's effectively kicking off that Moshiri hasn't sorted him a dream team in 2 windows. No one would have begrudged him if he'd left in the summer but there's a classy way of doing it, this will just bring a huge load of unecessary attention on us and propagate the very 'plucky Everton' image that Moshiri and Koeman presumably want to get rid of.

He's said nothing that isn't correct and that hasn't been said by most of us fans anyway.

I would only question whether this was the right time, and I'm also not convinced making it so public will do us any favours over the next 10 games or so.

But he's called the Board's bluff and their response should be interesting. I'd like to think there is a chance we can still keep Rom if they can convince him they are serious about where they want us to be and how much they are willing to spend to get us there.
The thing is, this should be a marker as a club right now. What you say about calling the boards bluff here, this should be a measure of them. We know we aren't selling lukaku unless it is for a huge fee contract or not so he isn't running out the club. So spend the first month of the window and sign better players, show some ambition and put some money up for once. Then sit down in August, throw a contract on the table again and day there you go rom, there's your ambition from us.

Rom has played a blinder here. He has killed three birds with one stone. He has justified why he is leaving, he has issued a public 'come and get me' to other clubs as well as diverting the fans anger away from him and towards the board.

This is what's more peeing me of that the press ( who's just a load of click bait ) will have us as plucky old Everton sell they're better players can't match ambitions and players want out. It's making me so angry were just being laughed at

No need for Everton to get involved in the press either.

This is a welcome change from the nodders and clappers. Mosh promised change, obviously it doesn't look like it's happening according to our best player.

Why anyone is upset at the thought of him leaving us is beyond me anyway, he was never retiring here.

I've seen Judas bandied about (not by you btw saint). Do me a favour ffs.
