Lukaku's Everton Frustration

I think he's bang on with what he says, because I want that same ambition, but what you said is exactly what went through my head too. We could have possibly done what city did but it would still have taken patience.

Then on the flip of the coin, lukaku needs to see realism too. We were trying to but witsel, Carvalho, mata, gabbidiani, brahimi, koulibaly etc if reports are led to be believed but we're not quite there yet in terms of attracting these players.

The game has also changed to stop doing what city did as well, but I have no issue with his comments, I was fairly disappointed with our summer dealings, I thought we had a lot more to do. But we can use this summer to put it right and get in some big names using Europe as a pull as well, but we need to show ambition, a name like rooney would show that tbf.

But if we sell lukaku now ( which we wil ) how the hell can we convince top stars to we want to aim high when we can't keep are current ones?

Esk did initially say that Kenwrigth had now nothing whatsoever to do with transfers, then subsequently backtracked though remember
Yeah mate but he was told the right information but whoever was involved in the transfers messed up like moshiri had said he was fuming like in the dealings in the summer . If I had to put money on it I'm sure kenwrong is dealing with transfers mate

What an idiot, we have a Derby coming up and our best player is making us vunerable. Why couldn't he have waited till after the last game. He better score an hattrick at Anfield now.

Oh God, everyone and his dog knows that Kenwright is still involved heavily, thats whats so sad about things atm

Yes because if we go and lose at the pit, then it'd be a marked difference to all those great performances we traditionally have put in during recent years in that game, christ this may make us lose 5-0 rather than 4-0 a few times...

Lukaku has turned the positivity mood into a negative because of his needs, this could have waited till the end of the season. Players will
Be distracted, bunch of fans are confused, some are fuming and kids will be upset. There is no need for this latest interview right now.

If we show some ambition when the window opens, I think he signs his contract or stays another year. If not he's off.
That's the way it reads to me anyway.

Or I could be clutching at straws completely.

When Moshiri sent that text to Jim White, everyone was saying " Moshiri has this, he is an astute business man " I've no doubt he is and is brilliant in the boardroom.

But Raiola has took the fight from the boardroom out in the open world of PR and the media. These are his actions and words being done via Rom now, divide and conquer and put the blame back on the club.
The club response is simple, buy a top quality player on the 1st day the TW open or BOOM Robinho signs(maybe 42 but still)

The implication here is that he has somehow masterminded this.

I may be the naive one now but I honestly thing it's not that calculated. He was at a club endorsed public event and was asked questions to which he responsed honestly.

I really don't think the fans opnion of him matters that much that we would want to play public relations and I cannot think of another player where a "come and get me" is not required.

I still think this could go either way.

It was orchestrated, of that have no doubt. Rom couldn't wait to talk, and the spiel was very calculated, probably formulated with his agent whilst on a visit to Amsterdam. If Big Rom really cared about the club, the fans and his beloved team mates, he would have kept his powder dry until the end of the season.

Only what happens on the pitch will show us mate, flip side - it could create a bit of anger in the team that gets us away from rolling over at the pit and old trafford.

could get the crowd at it's angriest best as well, who knows really.

If he'd waited until the summer to address this, Lukaku and Koeman would have been asked the question every day anyway to which they'd have had to keep giving the same answer which would have been viewed the exact same way this has if not worse.

I think your giving him too much credit personally.

He does not care about the club, not in the way we do. He wants to do well personally, if Everton can give him that cool beans.

He gone mate, all part of the plan to make a move.

I think it's more a ploy to keep the fans on his side. He'll be gone in the summer regardless of who we bring in but that's just my opinion.
