Exactly. The newspapers are making it up that he wants out. He has said whats wrong and what needs to happen for him to be happy and for us to go forward!!How anyone can digest from the interview he wants to leave is beyond me.

What are we classing as big games though mate?
He's scored in a couple of derbies, 2 FA Cup quarter finals, a League Cup semi final, the Arsenal home game in his first season which was probably our biggest game of that season, and all the way through our only European campaign with him. Yes he had a bad day in the semi, it happens. Where was Aguero last night? Is he no good now, because he didn't step up when City really needed him? Not many top class players about if they've got to be at their best in every game they play.
He's been our top scorer for 4 years running, and has scored considerably more than any striker we've had in the 20 years before he signed so I'm not sure why you're making out he's had some sort of Jamie Vardy style breakthrough season
Both clubs have spent uncomfortable periods in the shade of red neighbours.
Each has had a chance at renaissance. A sudden lifeline to drag them towards the elite.
For Manchester City it was the Abu Dhabi group nine years ago, for Everton it was Farhad Moshiri a little over a year ago.
Naturally given the contrasting time scales, City are further ahead with their revival.
Two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and two League Cups can attest to that.
But Sheikh Mansour & Co signalled their intent from day one, throwing money around with intent and making marquee signings that shook the footballing world.
Everton majority shareholder and billionaire investor Farhad Moshiri
Just ask Romelu Lukaku .
The Blues striker recounts how international team-mate Vincent Kompany told him of the early days at the Etihad stadium when discussing Everton's own progress and, it would seem, how he isn't yet fully convinced by it.
For Lukaku it would seem he is still not certain Everton will make statement signings such as Robinho, Carlos Tevez et al.
Robhino was a notable signing for the then newly-rich City
The comparison is a little unfair on Everton.
The financial landscape of the Premier League is different from 2008, and Uefa's Financial Fair Play rules more stringently aimed at thwarting newly monied clubs aiming to recruit far in excess of their commercial revenue.
But nevertheless the Blues are yet to really flex their muscles and find a way to signal they mean business.
Signing Morgan Schneiderlin in January was a nod in that direction. He is a gifted player who will propel them forward.
But he wasn't coveted by the top four, he wasn't followed by other quality first team performers ready to make an immediate impact. It didn't make world headlines.
If Everton do indeed follow up their interest in Wayne Rooney this summer, and separately recruit other big players in their prime, the message will be clear. The Moshiri Project will be gathering pace.
Off the pitch some imminent news about the club's new stadium will underline that spectacularly,
It may be too late to persuade Lukaku to stick around.
But it could convince others looking for affirmation; Ross Barkley, Tom Davies and as yet un-signed recruits, that the Blues are capable of 'doing a City' and becoming a super-power.

Echo asking the hard questions yet again.
Sigh. O'Keefe should be ashamed to put his name to it.
I'm still just fascinated how people could have read his latest interview and still be ticked at him. He came across as passionate and thoughtful. Seems to me he'd like to win here and just said what we've all thought. If anything, he seems like he gets it. Think he borderline deserves a standing ovation.
How anyone can digest from the interview he wants to leave is beyond me.
Too well thought out some might say...I think he does. You can read what you want into it though, was a well thought out interview.
