Comes after them. Oviedo defo a squad player. Not a massive hit anyway. United match apart. See why you posted that though.
On performances last year he was our best left back, this year after being rusty for a game or two he looked back to being sound again.

Better all rounder than Garbutt and with baines poor form id have him ahead of him nea

Credit to him and Stones for facing up to the travelling fans at the end, didn't shy away from likely boos and were well received with applause instead.

Hope Garbutt stays and I imagine he probably will.
Must stay. After Baines' form this season we may have another Distin next season. Who knows? Must keep the lad.

I suspect something is going on with Baines anyway. Garbutt suits playing with noone in front of him more than Baines anyway, so if we are sticking with that then he is a must.

Or perhaps he is just waiting to see who the manager is next season ;)

Baines has been bad for most of the season. Who knows going forward. Can't lose Garbutt.

Baines bad for most of the season... and so was the entire squad! Honestly, he's had a dozen assists and a couple of goal for a left back. I don't think he's the main issue here, far from it. Of course, I'd also like Luke to sign, but at this very moment, he's not even worthy of tying Bainesy's shoelaces.

As strange as it sounds this season turning out the way it has is about the best learning experience he could have. In the league we are simply useless so majority of the time he is having to focus more defensively than offensively and thats the side of the game which he will need to learn as he gets older and gains more experience. Its good to bring youngsters in when confidence is high but its a true test of the player if he can come into a struggling side and not play absolutely pony.

Long term i don't doubt he could potentially replace Baines, the best way to get the lad to sign that contract is give him a good run of games in the run in, providing we don't get relegated there really is nothing to lose and id hardly say he has been at fault in the games he has played so far just a bit naive in certain situations which again will only be improved through the experience of this level of football.

It was mentioned a bit above about hes more natural than Baines without someone in front, i sort of agree with this but some of his short link up play at times is very clever in particular i noticed the 1st half v stoke he used the stokes players momentum to swivvel around the back of him before the guy had realised he had passed the ball off and was already on the turn, id imagine if he had a partnership like baines had with pienaar it could be a deadly duo again.

This all over.

If it was up to half our fans. So far this season we would of got rid or replaced Howard, Jags, Baines, Barry, Barkley, Piennar, Osman, Mirallas (ffs) Lukaku....

Infact I think there's only stones, Oveido, besic and McCarthy who'd still be here!

There's a link here with all these underperforming players. He's catalan and a clown.

However get garbutt signed up! Future england LB. Will be better than Shaw imo.
